As soon as I found out I was pregnant, one of the first things I did was go to Barnes and Noble to look at pregnancy books.
I bought one for Pete, Dad’s Pregnant, Too!, which he read within a week or so. In fact, he kept spouting off pregnancy tips and kernels of knowledge that left me asking, “How do you know these things?”
“It was in the pregnancy book!” he’d say.
Good to know that was a smart purchase.
Another book I bought was dedicated to helping couples find baby names. This particular book, Bring Back Beatrice!, is full of names that are a bit more traditional, which Pete and I both liked. Right now, we’re still not sure which names we like best. It’s a good thing we’ve got a few months to figure it out!
Did you know right away what name(s) you liked for your kids? How did you realize that you had the winning name?
