32 Weeks: Pete’s Feeling Left Out

Pete was feeling left out of these pregnancy photo shoots, so this week he’s featured in the belly shot. Luckily for him, he hasn’t gained any weight throughout this pregnancy! Want to know his secret? He’s running extra miles in the morning to offset the yummy desserts we’re eating at night. 🙂

32 Weeks Pregnant

Pregnancy Q&A

How far along? 32 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 22 pounds gained

Maternity clothes? Definitely yes.

Stretch marks? No

Best moment this week: Strangely enough, the best moment this week resulted from Pete and I prepping for baby: we bought the stroller and car seat, and since Target was having a good sale on diapers we stocked up on diapers and wipes. After getting these things in order, I felt such a feeling of relief and preparedness!

Miss anything? Right now I’d give anything to be able to sleep comfortably on my stomach. I miss being able to lay on my belly.

Movement: Yes. Pete and I get a kick out of watching my belly at night and actually seeing Baby Girl Bier move through the skin.

Food cravings: I’ve been craving salty foods; I think these cravings might be attributed to the warm weather here in Hawaii — you inadvertently sweat more than you might in other climates.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Have you started to show yet? Yes

Gender: Girl!

Labor signs: Feeling some Braxton Hicks contractions; when I felt them for the first time I thought to myself, “Whoa, what the heck is happening?” Now I know these are perfectly normal as the body “practices” for labor.

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? Engagement ring on, wedding ring off.

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy

Looking forward to: Going to happy hour! I really miss the post-work cocktail, and look forward to enjoying these again after Baby Girl is born.
